G4-G10 Travel Teams

If you have a question about what program your child belongs in, please review this chart first.

For our older players in 3rd grade and up. Players are placed on teams of similar skill, age and gender and compete against teams in neighboring towns in Essex County. Games are on Saturday (G10 has games on Sunday) and there is typically one practice per week but your coach may choose to have multiple practices.

Games are Saturdays (schedule made by Essex County)
Fall season: Starts on or around the 1st week in September (No games Columbus Day weekend)
Spring season: Starts on or around the 2nd week in April (No games Memorial Day weekend)

All GYSA volunteers involved with players of any age undergo a strict approval process including concussion training, adult registration with Mass Youth Soccer, and a CORI check. For more info, click here.

Travel team uniforms

The kit will include standard black socks and shorts (with no additional striping or embellishments to make it easier to swap or pass along) and the jersey will consist of a Royal Blue and Black stripe pattern with the GYSA logo on the chest. The total cost for the uniform is $70.

Team and League Outfitters is located on 103 East Main Street in Georgetown (next to Honey Dew Donuts in the Georgetown Supply Plaza). Store owner Jennifer Dziadosz will be ready to fit your player.. 

Team and League Outfitters regular store hours:

• 11:00am – 06:00pm on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
• 08:00am – 12:00pm on Saturday

Please note:

• Existing travel players cannot pick new numbers
• Existing travel players who play with the jersey of an older brother or sister must pick a new number
• G2 players moving up to G4 in the Fall can pick their numbers (provided they are not already taken)
